Mr. Vince Francis M. Famorcan, LPT, a Senior High School (SHS) academic staff, won in the Lesson Exemplar: Culture-based Module Writing Contest category of the 13th Diwang Sagisag Kultura ng Filipinas Competition on December 15, 2025.
Famorcan’s work entitled “Hinabing Pamana: Pag-unawa sa Kabuhayan at Kultura sa Ilaya at Ilawod” highlighted the importance of culture-based instruction by meaningfully integrating Sagisag Kultura ng Filipinas, fostering cultural awareness, pride, and national identity among learners.
He teaches in the Humanities and Social Sciences cluster.
The 13th Diwang Sagisag Kultura ng Filipinas Competition was organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) through the Philippine Cultural Education Program (PCEP).
